A Note About Coronavirus: The world is different, but don’t believe that means your martial arts training has to stop. We aim to offer face-to-face classes to as many students as possible where it is safe and appropriate to do so. When restrictions prevent face-to-face classes from taking place then we will offer virtual classes (over Zoom) as this is the next best alternative.
Our return to face-to-face classes in the Sports Centre aligns with the governments lockdown restrictions as follows:
- 12 April – Students under the age of 18 can begin to attend face-to-face classes. Face-to-face class formats will be adjusted to make them covid-safe. Online classes will continue for students over the age of 18.
- 17 May – Students aged 18 and over can begin to attend face-to-face classes as well. Face-to-face class formats will still be adjusted to make them covid-safe.
- 19 July – Adjustments to make classes covid-safe will be phased out, allowing a full training programme to resume.
If you would like to find out about what adjustments we’ll be making to classes to make them covid-safe, you can read our full risk assessment and plan here.
